Let’s focus on smell

By: Aileen Baxter

Try selecting a different strong smell every day, for example a lemon, lavender, or coffee beans. Each day pick up the item and focus all of your attention on it, close your eyes and breathe in the scent. Perhaps the smell will bring up a memory, or an emotion.

Acknowledge whatever comes up. Take a breath, sit with the smell and emotion, before opening your eyes and going about your day.
