Finding moments in our chores

By: Aileen Baxter

Pick a simple chore you do several times in the week, perhaps washing the dishes or vacuuming. Each time you do the task, pay attention to every little detail. Listen to the water running, feel the plate under the washing up liquid, notice your hand as you wash the dish. Whatever you notice, pay attention as though you have never washed the dishes before. Rediscover the chore, try and find fun in the routine.
